Rudy Giuliani Speaks To Club For Growth, Part I

Rudy has released the videos of his speech at the Club for Growth Annual Winter Conference. It shows Rudy has strong grasp on the economic issues of our time. Here are many great quotes but here is my favorite: "What I am for is Freedom. More Freedom for people here at home, more freedom for people aboard. More security for us which yields more freedom. A lowering of the burdens of government and I think we are on the same page. So I invite you to support me." -Rudy

Go Rudy!

"People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both."
Benjamin Franklin (1706.01.17 – 1790.04.17) was an American inventor, journalist, printer, diplomat, and statesman. Oh, and co-author of the U.S. Constitution.

I’d like to salute your blog and offer any support for your activities that I can. On my own blog, I will write frequently about Giuliani, and have had recent columns (including one today, September 13, on Giulian’s strategy, an unusual one for Republicans. I invite everyone to visit and to leave comments. This will be a very exciting race. I write with frequency about a possible V-P candidate and one of the brightest stars in the GOP universe, Sarah Heath Palin, Governor of Alaska. She’s someone you should know about. All the best.

"Freedom at home" apparently doesn't extend to owning ferrets, does it Rudy?

My wife is for Rudy, I am for Huckabee. I agree McCain is too liberal and Romney gives me the creeps and is at best unreliable. I would vote for Rudy if he gets the nomination. I have no doubt he would focus like a laser beam on terrorism. However, it looks like he may come in 3rd or even 4th in Florida. That would not bode well for super Tuesday. If the “slide” downwards continues Rudy may face the possibility of withdrawal ala Fred. If he does, would he endorse? Certainly not McCain. It would have to be Huckabee. They seem to get along together, in fact I could see a position for Rudy in a Huckabee ticket, VP most likely. If not that, Homeland Security? Hey, I really hate to see Rudy go, but it sure looks bad from here. I sure would like to see some friendly communication with the Huckabee camp.
